- Search for "Helago Driver" or "Helago Driver - Sri Lanka"
- Tap "Install" or "Get"
- Wait for download to complete (app is free!)
Step 3: Open & Register
- Launch the HelaGo Driver app
- Enter your mobile number
- Verify with OTP code
- Upload documents (NIC, license, RC book, insurance)
- Add vehicle details
Step 4: Get Approved
- HelaGo reviews your documents (24-48 hours)
- You'll receive confirmation when approved
Step 5: Start Earning!
- Go online in the app
- Accept ride requests
- Set your own fares
- Keep 93% of every fare 🎉

Summary HelaGo:
HelaGo is Sri Lanka's own ride-hailing app, owned by Bhasha Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. It started in January 2025. Drivers set their own prices on the platform, and passengers can choose from a number of offers. This is called a "Open & Fair" bidding system. Drivers get to keep 93% of the fare, and there is no charge to sign up or make a deposit.
About Mr. Dhanika Perera:
Dhanika Perera started HelaGo and Bhasha Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
He has a Computer Science and Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa and an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He started Helakuru (2011), PayHere (2016), HelaPay, and HelaGo (2025) after almost 15 years of being an entrepreneur. He wants to make sure that all Sri Lankans have access to digital technology. He has won several national awards, such as South Asian Award and the Government of Sri Lanka Recognition for Digital Transformation.
